Answer to the question: It depends on whether the user saved the project or not. If they did, they can try to retrieve the saved file. If they didn't, unfortunately there's no way to recover the lost progress.
Is there a way to make invisible the roof - temporary? It blocks everything underneath in 2D mode. I couldn't find any. The only workaround so far is to move out of the way the roof. Which is very clumsy solution.
Thank you.

Yes, it is possible to temporarily make the roof invisible in the Planner 5D program for Windows. You can do this by moving the roof out of the way, although this workaround may be inconvenient.
When I start the program it runs properly but it doesn't have any content in it like furniture or walls etc. Only thing I get is a standard wall and that's it.

As described on the Windows Store, Planner5D contains a 3000+ item catalog where you can browse and add everything. Try opening the software and then go directly to the manual to learn how to load the items and how to add them into your design.
I didn't see on their website, but it could be possible that the software might have some sort of a subscription method.
I saved a couple of projects when I was working with it on my PC. What software program do I need to use to open up the projects I saved?

If you've saved the files to the proprietary format used by the application, then the only way to open them is with the same application. However, CAD apps allow you to save to a common format so that you can import the contents into another program as well.
Check the format of the files and then open the new application, then go to File > Open or File > Import to see if you can import them.
This is the only way right now you can use to open the files that you have.

I am trying to use a glass partition as a stair rail but cannot rotate the object on the vertical plane
Same issue. Have you solved it then?
Thanks
Andrew
